Windows 10 End of Life – 10/14/2025
As we have discussed with most of our contracted customers, Windows 10 is coming to an end. After October 14, 2025 Windows 10 will no longer receive any security updates. Which means these systems either have to be upgraded to Windows 11, or they need to be replaced. We still have approximately 280 devices still running Windows 10, across all of our customers. Though the system will continue to function, the longer you use it past this date, makes it less secure to use.
Our general recommendation is, if the device was purchased during or since 2019, then an upgrade can usually be done. Anything purchased from us, since October 2021, already has Windows 11. A lot of these systems do have 8gb of memory, which is the minimum we would recommend for Windows 11. We now sell new systems with a minimum of 16gb.
You should see the upgrade as an option in the Windows update section on these computers, to download and install the upgrade.
If you are not sure which version of Windows your computer(s) have, you can type “winver” in the run or search bar. It will bring up a window showing your current version.

Please contact us if you need help planning this upgrade or replacement of your devices. We can provide you with a list of your systems and what should be replaced or upgraded. Then provide a proper estimate for your situation. You can call our office number, 603-753-8740, or send a request to [email protected].
